Waso were one of the first companies to manufacture and sell car alarms way back in the 1960's.
Today these are mostly made and installed to Insurance standards laid down by Thatcham - The Motor Industry Insurance Repair Research Centre. They also safeguard and maintain standards of installation via their "Recognised Installer" scheme.
Waso & RCA have been registered with the Thatcham scheme since its inauguration so you will receive a authorised certificate from Thatcham when we install your system.

Alarms
Many insurers specify that you must have an alarm fitted and we can supply and install the alarm you need be it category 2-1 or Category 1. We carefully match the alarm fitted to your car and your specific requirements.
Tracking Systems
These fall into two categories stolen vehicle trackers and Vehicle management systems.
The stolen vehicle trackers enable the vehicle to be located if it is moved illegally and the Police to be given minute by minute details of it location so that is can be returned to you undamaged.
For very high value vehicles there is a Cat 5 Thatcham system which immediately triggers the vehicle to be tracked even if the thief has your keys!
The Fleet management systems enable the whereabouts of your vehicles to be shown on your computer so you can see their location and any other details you require, for example what speed, highest speed, what time did journey start/finish this enables the vehicle to be managed the most efficient way for your business. In the case of an urgent customer call you can see which vehicle is the nearest to satisfy the customer's requirements.
Parking Sensors
The effect of streamlining has meant that it is getter harder to see the full extent of the bonnet and rear of vehicles. Steelmate parking sensors can avoid unfortunate accidents. The rear sensors can detect if short obstacles such as children are behind before reversing.
There are even kits with screens so you can see an actual picture of what is in front and behind the car.
